Meet the Thrasher Team
The only inspection team in Birmingham with two CCMI-certified inspectors — family-owned, locally rooted, and built on one principle: give clients the truth.
Timothy Thrasher CCMI · CMI
Tim Thrasher is the founder and lead inspector of Centsable Inspections, Inc. — and the only Certified Code Master Inspector (CCMI) operating in the Birmingham market. The CCMI designation represents the highest level of building code expertise in the inspection industry, earned through rigorous testing and continuing education in residential and commercial building codes.
Tim also holds the Certified Master Inspector (CMI) designation, CCPIA commercial inspector certification, InterNACHI membership, infrared thermography certification, and indoor air quality inspector credentials. As an InterNACHI Partner Instructor, he trains other inspectors — which means his knowledge stays current and goes deep.
His approach to every inspection is the same: imagine it's his own money on the line. That means no shortcuts, no skipped systems, and no softened findings. The client deserves the complete picture — and that's what every Centsable report delivers.
Under Tim's leadership, Centsable Inspections has earned 464+ five-star Google reviews, a BBB A+ accreditation, and a reputation as Birmingham's most thorough inspection firm for both residential and commercial clients.
Neal Thrasher CCMI · CMI
Neal Thrasher is a Certified Code Master Inspector (CCMI) and Certified Master Inspector (CMI) — one of only a handful of inspectors in Alabama to hold both designations. As a core member of the Centsable Inspections team, Neal brings the same code-level expertise and client-first approach that defines every Centsable inspection.
Neal's inspections cover all major residential systems — structure, roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and more — evaluated at the same rigorous CCMI standard that has made Centsable Inspections the most credentialed inspection firm in the Birmingham market.
With Neal on the team, Centsable can serve more clients without sacrificing the quality and personal attention that has earned the company hundreds of five-star reviews. Every inspection, regardless of who conducts it, meets the same Centsable standard.
Our Credentials
How We Work
Thorough Over Fast
We never rush an inspection. Every system gets the attention it deserves, even when it takes longer.
Clarity Over Jargon
Our reports are written for property owners, not engineers. You'll understand exactly what we found and why it matters.
Independent & Objective
We don't refer repairs, don't perform remediation, and have no financial interest in what we find. Our only loyalty is to accuracy.
Local Expertise
We know Birmingham's housing stock, local code history, soil conditions, and climate-specific risks better than out-of-state inspection chains.
